Contortion Foundations: Back Bending
Ages 10+
Class Description
This foundational back bending workshop will not only help you fight the dreaded "tech neck" and feel taller for the rest of the day, but it will also give you the tools you need to build your back flexibility gently over time. We'll cover active range of motion sequences as well as restorative stretching techniques that you can replicate on your own to help build up your back bendiness and undo the strain and tension of modern computer-posture-plagued life! Recommended materials: foam roller and/or yoga blocks (or if not, a couple of firm pillows or rolled towels should do).
Cancellation Policy
Absentee Policy If you need to cancel your booking for any workshops, please email theclimbcircusarts@gmail.com as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a workshop cannot be refunded, unless emergency situations arise such as illness and injury. Attire No jeans, zippers or buckles–strictly enforced. Shirts should tuck in if not tight fitted. Hair longer than chin length must be tied back and secured. No jewelry other than post earrings. Communication We have an open door policy at The Climb Circus Arts, and encourage parents and students to reach out with any feedback, questions, or concerns. We also love to hear what you or your child are enjoyed! Please never hesitate to email! Workshop Conduct Safety is our primary concern! For that reason, students must follow the safety rules. These rules will be discussed at the start of the workshop. Students are expected to be courteous and encouraging to classmates. Please, no gum or food during class. No one is allowed on any equipment when not under an instructor’s supervision. Please also keep in mind, we are renting space from another entity and will be as respectful as possible to the space, people, and equipment that does not belong to us.
