Contortion Foundations: Splits

Class Description
Elongate those lines and develop a flashy new skill to show off at the holidays! This workshop will explore both front and middle splits through active range of motions drills, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF stretching), nerve flossing and more. This workshop will equip you with the techniques and mobility sequences that you can repeat independently to safely develop your split flexibility over time and it may even give you jello legs for the rest of the day! Loosen up after tense Thanksgiving travel or standing over that hot stove with this hour-long workshop. Recommended materials: yoga blocks or a pillow/rolled towel and a couple of thick books.
Cancellation Policy
Absentee Policy If you need to cancel your booking for any workshops, please email theclimbcircusarts@gmail.com as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a workshop cannot be refunded, unless emergency situations arise such as illness and injury. Attire No jeans, zippers or buckles–strictly enforced. Shirts should tuck in if not tight fitted. Hair longer than chin length must be tied back and secured. No jewelry other than post earrings. Communication We have an open door policy at The Climb Circus Arts, and encourage parents and students to reach out with any feedback, questions, or concerns. We also love to hear what you or your child are enjoyed! Please never hesitate to email! Workshop Conduct Safety is our primary concern! For that reason, students must follow the safety rules. These rules will be discussed at the start of the workshop. Students are expected to be courteous and encouraging to classmates. Please, no gum or food during class. No one is allowed on any equipment when not under an instructor’s supervision. Please also keep in mind, we are renting space from another entity and will be as respectful as possible to the space, people, and equipment that does not belong to us.
