Jessica Kursar believes in the magic of circus arts, as she has felt it for herself and her family. After moving to New Jersey fourteen years ago, she began searching for a community that would be accepting and uplifting. She came across The Circus Place in Hillsborough, New Jersey. Starting out as a student and working her way into teaching, she has always felt supported in the circus community. Her three children and husband began taking classes and have enjoyed exploring circus arts. 

As a board member of The Climb she is thrilled to be able to share in the gift that circus is for so many people. Watching student's eyes light up as they finally achieve a skill or trick that they have been working on is true magic. Jessica is looking forward to seeing the positive impact that The Climb will have on the community. She is ready to begin the next part of her circus journey and hope many of you will come along for the ride!
